This is the first half of our winter ski trip to the Interior of British Columbia. We spent 5 days in Nelson skiing Whitewater Ski Resort. Nelson is located 8-9 hours from Vancouver in the interior of British Columbia. Its a small town that has a lot of character. There are some amazing restaurants and trendy shops along the main street.
Our main draw to spend a few days here was White Water Ski Resort. Whitewater Resort is about a 20 minute drive from Nelson. This resort is known for getting insane amounts of snow and not being as commercialized as some of the bigger named resorts in B.C. With 30cm of fresh snow on the night of our arrival Whitewater did not let us down!
Make sure to watch the next episode which includes our 7 day, back-country ski trip to Powder Creek Lodge. This was actually one of the most incredible places I've ever visited in my life.

Whitewater Ski Resort Nelson BC March 10&11 2018
My bro Mike (ya, mike and mike lol) and I took a short trip down to Whitewater Ski Resort in Nelson BC on the weekend of March 10&11 2018. Had some decent pow around on Saturday but things warmed up a bit and was more set up on Sunday. Fun was had though! Whitewater is a touring paradise, but the in bounds are awesome too. TONS of trees everywhere!

2nd day of the season, 1st day I had no idea anywhere on the mountain so I decided to get shown around on Whitewater's Free Tours! Gary & Ed showed me around and told me some great spots to go when new snow comes! Great sunny day getting my legs ready for some pow pow in my future.
