Travelling to London
I'm going to London on the 24th of April and I'm so very very excited about it. (If you aren't a whovian this video makes whole lot more sense when you know that the 23rd of April is Silence Day in the Doctor Who fandom which this reason I made this video)
Episode 11- Into The United Kingdom: Wales, Part 1 - The Doctor Who Experience
It would have been 7 minutes if I fit it all in one vlog, so my trip to Cardiff, Wales is a two-parter. Part 1 is at the Doctor Who Experience. Serious Nerd Content. What I have shown in this vlog is not everything that was on display.

When Presley of ActOutGames was seven years old, her parents were using many of the amazing educational resources available on YouTube as part of her home school experience. She liked to learn from folks like Hank and John Green, and also enjoyed watching daily vlog creators like CTFxC and the Shaytards or lets play channels like Chuggaaconnory. Her love of YouTube led her parents to start their own channel to show that you can do anything you set your mind to. As with everything else in her life, they jumped in with both feet and started shooting a daily vlog that has now gone on for well over two years without missing a single day. They mix in home school lessons, an occasional how to episode, museum visits, book review and movie review segments, educational toys, cosplay, travel, Minecraft, Doctor Who, Japanese lessons and anything else that happens to be going on in their life that day. Thier goal is to grow the channel to the point where Presley can have her own signing table at a future VidCon.

88 CALLS UPON THE MIGHTY PETER MAYHEW (CHEWBACCA FROM STAR WARS)
PLEASE SUPPORT THE AGENT 88 KICKSTARTER. WE ARE IN FINAL HOURS AND NEED YOUR SUPPORT.
Peter Mayhew also known as The Mighty Chewbacca from Star Wars was born and raised in Barnes, London, England on May 19, 1944.[1]
He got his first acting job in 1976 when the producers of Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger discovered Mayhew from a photograph in a newspaper article about men with large feet, and they cast him in the role of the minotaur.
When casting roles for his first Star Wars movie, producer George Lucas needed a tall actor who could fit the role for the beastly Chewbacca. He originally had in mind 6 ft 6 in bodybuilder David Prowse, but he was instead cast to play Darth Vader. This led Lucas on a search which turned up Mayhew, who says that all he had to do to be cast in the role of Chewbacca was stand up. He reprised his signature role during Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, which was released in cinemas on his birthday in 2005.
Mayhew has played the part of Chewbacca in four Star Wars movies: the original Star Wars trilogy (Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi) and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. He also played the role in the 1978 television film The Star Wars Holiday Special, as well as in an appearance on The Muppet Show. He also recorded dialogue[3] as Chewbacca for the animated show The Clone Wars, in the Season 3 finale episode called Wookiee Hunt.[4] Mayhew also plays the role in commercials and for hospital appearances for sick children. When cast in the role he studied the movement of large animals at the zoo to come up with an authentic sense of movement for Chewbacca. When Mayhew grew ill in the shooting of The Empire Strikes Back a similarly tall stand in was used, but the actor could not match Mayhew's studied movement style and the scenes had to be re-shot upon Mayhew's recovery. Mayhew did not provide the voice of Chewbacca; that was created by the film's sound designer Ben Burtt by mixing together the growls of different animals.
Mayhew has made numerous appearances as Chewbacca outside the Star Wars films. Mayhew as Chewbacca was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the MTV Movie Awards 1997. He was also honoured at the release of the new PlayStation Portable where he dressed as Chewbacca and held up the new PSP slim version. Mayhew also reprised his role in the Disney theme park attraction, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.[5]
He has also made media appearances without the Chewbacca costume. Mayhew appeared on NBC's Identity where his identity was based on the fact that he played Chewbacca.
Outside Star Wars, Mayhew has appeared in the horror film Terror directed by Norman J. Warren. He also voiced the character Susha in the English version of Dragon Ball GT: A Hero's Legacy.

lost in translation | Doctor Who
Strangers in a foreign land, the Doctor and Clara find escape, distraction and understanding amidst the beautiful, wonderful and vast universe. They form a bond that is as unlikely as it is heartfelt and meaningful. Lost In Translation AU.

Happy Capalday, dear whovians! If you haven't subscribed to my channel yet (pls do, I'm a needy attention whore) or you are new here, every August 23rd since Peter's first episode as the Doctor I post an AU video. Since Jenna left, I think it's my last video in this series featuring Clara, so I decided to make it special. Lost In Translation is one of my favourite movies of all time, and I was deeply inspired by my recent trip to Korea. So this is the result of it all. I really hope you like it (:
