Willamette Valley Vineyard was founded by Jim Bernau in 1983 when he planted 50 acres of Pinot Noir (Pinot Noir Dijon clones 667, 777, Pommard and Wadenswil), Chardonnay (Dijon Clone Chardonnay 76 and 96 and Espiguette) and Pinot Gris on ancient volcanic, iron-rich soil. Willamette Valley Vineyards is one of the region's leading wineries, earning the title One of America's Great Pinot Noir Producers, from Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Mastering Willamette Valley Wine
Oregon wine is on a roll in New York. According to Nielsen data, Oregon wine sales increased 21% in New York over the last 3 years. Eric Asimov of The New York Times must have felt that same momentum when he recently wrote, “Oregon is right now the single most exciting winemaking area in the United States.”
Why is this little wine region, just 1% of the total US wine production, making such a big impression on New York and across the country?
On May 7 2019 in New York City, Pacific Northwest-based Masters, Bree Stock MW and Chris Tanghe MS offered a multi-faceted presentation and discussion on the AVAs, varieties and business of wine in Oregon’s powerhouse region, the Willamette Valley.

As part of our participation in the Wine Tourism Conference, held in Portland in November 2013, we opted in for the final event: a wine and food pairing dinner at Willamette Valley Vineyards. This was also the 4th winery we've visited in our project to visit a winery in all 50 states.
The winery, founded by Jim Bernau in 1983 and now celebrating its 30th anniversary, is making the tasting experience the main focus of customer visits, believing that wines should be tasted with food. We were the first group, the dress rehearsal if you will, of the newly built space. With a commercial kitchen and a demonstration area including wood burning oven, plenty of great food is sure to be had.

Interstate 5 Southbound thru Oregon: Turner, Albany, Eugene
This video begins near Turner, Oregon (just south of Salem, near the Enchanted Forest) and heads south on Interstate 5 through Albany and Eugene, until it gets too dark to see anything. You may notice the truck stop at Rice Hill near the end, but it's too dark to see much. But, along the way, it's beautiful!

Enchanted Forest Amusement Park in Turner Oregon! Family Adventure Super Fun Theme Park Kids review!
We take a super fun family adventure day in 2017 at the Enchanted Forest Amusement Park in Turner Oregon (right outside of Salem, OR.)! The kids had the BEST TIME at this great Oregon child destination spot!
Emma, Conner, Cousin Will, and Uncle Rob had a great time riding so many fun, fast, cool, and awesome rides and they even took some of the best on-ride videos of them! Some of the ride we rode were: Big Timber Log Flume Ride, Ice Mountain Bobsled Roller Coaster (rode front), Haunted House, and the Frog Hopper!
Not only did we do the exciting thrill rides at this fun theme park, we also strolled through the cool forest trails of fairy tales and imagination! We also saw a fun play and enjoyed a delicious ice cream treat at the end of the day! Enjoy the squid's review of this cool, quirky Oregon amusement park!
***We don't think this awesome fun amusement park is haunted but even Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin from Ghost Adventures visited for a paranormal investigation!
