Gate 16 Rain Delay at Williams-Brice Stadium
A rain delay happened in the 4th quarter during a North Carolina @ South Carolina football game. Event staff made everyone clear the stands and head into the concourse. I was lucky enough to be at the front of Gate 16 when the rain started to hit. Decided to take a video.

SC State Farmers Market
The South Carolina State Farmers Market started out on Assembly Street in Columbia. Then, in the early 1950's it moved to Bluff Road next to Williams Brice stadium where it operated for a number of years. That market closed in October of 2010 when the new market opened up in Lexington County on Charleston Highway. With a new location and amenities for the public, the State Farmers Market is more than just a place to pick up fresh fruits and veggies.

Quick Drive Around University of South Carolina (Their Stadium is Huge!)
Quick Drive Around University of South Carolina (Their Stadium is Huge!) - After visiting the Congaree National Park in South Carolina, we decided to drive to the University of South Carolina, as it was only 17 minutes away from our RV campground. It was worth the drive.
Their campus is nice and huge, especially the Gamecocks football Stadium. We couldn't believe how big it was! It was almost like an NFL stadium. It even had a multi-level parking structure beside it. Must have gotten a lot of sponsors :-).
We didn't have time to actually walk around, unlike when we toured around the University of Kansas. However, we can tell that campus life is diverse and can have lots of things to do. We wouldn't mind going to this campus to study.
WHO ARE WE?
We, Irwin and Victorina, left the corporate world and sold our furniture to go on an epic road trip of visiting all U.S. National Parks! Follow our journey - from letting go of our material possessions, preparing for the extended camping trip, and even the mistakes, joys, doubts and adventures we make along the way! We hope to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of Planet Earth.
Adventure begins in Feb 2017. We estimate this road trip will take us approximately 12 to 16 months. We know we will some amazing places and meet a lot of interesting people.
If you have an idea or suggestions for us for places to visit along the way, feel free to contact us!
NEW VIDEOS every Friday and Monday. If we miss a day, it is probably because we had no phone signal inside the park or we couldn't find any wifi access. If this is the case, we will upload our video as soon as we get any phone signal.

The Energy at South Carolina vs Ole Miss (Sept 2009)
I've now been to games at 83 schools and many of those schools I've seen several times, but rarely do I find a place where fans are as rowdy as they are in Columbia, South Carolina - one of my favorite places to see a college football game.
After flying all night from California, my buddy and I raced to William Brice Stadium and had a blast. The Gamecocks entered this September 2009, SEC matchup with Ole Miss unranked, but I think everyone in the country knew USC would knock off No. 4 Ole Miss on this ESPN's Thursday night game of the week. The place was insane!
