Windy Sun Surf Camp in Bali 2018
The Windy Sun surf camp is our surf hotel. We offer accommodation package with surf lessons.
Located in Kuta, Windy Sun surf camp offers cosy accommodation. Providing free Wi-Fi in all areas, it is within 500m from Ocean well-known surf breaks at Kuta Beach, Half Way, Padma.
Accessible through the landscaped gardens, air-conditioned rooms in Windy Sun surf camp enjoy much natural light from their floor-to-ceiling windows. A personal safe, freshly laundered towels and a wardrobe are included. En suite bathrooms provide shower facilities and free toiletries.
The property is within 3 km from the stylish Seminyak area and 20 km from tranquil Ubud. Kuta area is a 1-minute walk away, while Ngurah Rai International Airport is 10 km away.
Staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist with sightseeing arrangements and car or motorbike rental. Newspapers, barbecue facilities and free tea/coffee-making facilities are provided on site.

Empty beachbreak somewhere in Bali
Babe Town - Batu Bolong, 12 July 2019
Batu Bolong is a bit of an anomaly when it comes to the ratio of women to men in a lineup, i.e a lot more women, this morning's session being no exception.
Even though a fairly stiff SE was forecast, the trade wind was late to get up this morning which meant a super glassy surface for the first few of hours of daylight.
It did start blowing at around 10am, but by the time I left at 10:30 there was still plenty of shape out there, especially on the lefts.
A little bump in the swell and an increase in the trade wind is forecast for tomorrow, so we'll probably head back over to the Bukit for a bit of protection from the wind.

Slap bang in the middle of the dry season with persistent SE trade winds equates to limited opportunities to go right here in Bali. So it has been nice to have some light wind mornings over the last few days, a breath of fresh air particularly for us natural footers.
The Sandbar and Rivermouth were doing their thing yesterday with plenty of well shaped rights rolling through.
There's more variable wind in the forecast, so it looks like we'll get the chance to surf some of the more exposed breaks over the next few days.
