Margaret River Wine Fifty Years in the Making Tasting
On November 16th, 2017, as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations of Margaret River wine, the region showcased a once in a lifetime tasting of thirty five unique wines from across the decades. The audience included some of Australia’s and the world’s most influential wine personalities.

During our weekend in Margaret River we went to a wine tour that included 4 wineries in which we tried around 7 wines from each one of them (from red, white and rosé wines to liqueur ones) and two stops at the chocolate factory and the dairy factory.

We book everything with Margaret River Tours, they take care of anything from pickup and drop off from the location you provide them and you can choose between 4 wineries with a half day tour or a 6 wineries with a full day tour.
Both options include some light food to get back to a reasonable degree of mental clarity during the wine tasting, as well as stops at the chocolate and dairy factory.
