Walthamstow Wetlands is the largest park to have been made in London since Tudor times. A beautiful place and rich in wildlife, it deserves to be known as London's Lake District. The landscape architects were Chris Blandford Associates (feasibility study) and Lynn Kinnear Landscape Architects KLA (implementation). The habitats are managed by the London Wildlife Trust. Funding came from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Thames Water and Waltham. Forest

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Woodberry Wetlands is a nature reserve and designated Site of Metropolitan Importance on the site of the East Reservoir in Stoke Newington, Hackney, London. The site opened to the public for the first time in 200 years on 1 May 2016. Covering 4.5 ha (11 acres) and situated close to the Lee Valley, Woodberry Wetlands was acquired as a nature reserve in 2014. The site is owned by Thames Water and run by London Wildlife Trust.
After a major redevelopment the East Reservoir now offers free public access. The reserve was developed by London Wildlife Trust in collaboration with Thames Water, Berkeley Homes and London Borough of Hackney, with funding from Heritage Lottery Fund. The site contains a boardwalk, a visitors' centre with café, toilet facilities and a classroom. The New River Path runs alongside the northern edge of the reservoir. This forms part of a cycle route connecting to Walthamstow Wetlands, badged as the 'Wetlands to Wetlands Greenway'.

A Walthamstow Walk
I go on an expedition through uncharted forest to find secrets hidden in Walthamstow Marshes - near Walthamstow Wetlands.
I find a spot of wilderness and a hidden surprise.
I also felt a strange presence - was it a ghost? My imagination? Or lens flare?
Walthamstow Marshes lie by the River Lea - the ancient boundary between Middlesex and Essex - or Clapton and Walthamstow.
Worth visiting on foot or bike - for a leisurely stroll, bird watching, or plain loafing around when there's nothing better to do.
desafortunadamente este video está en Inglés, en este exploro un pequeño sendero natural en Walthamstow y descubro un secreto oculto!
