27th December 2011 and it is so remarkably mild I can't resist breathing life into the garden railway! 15 mins spent brightening up the out track head with a trach rubber and reconnecting a wire to the controller which had worked its way lose, and the trains were running without a hitch. Here we have an ACE Trains Castle Class loco at the head of a rake of Darstaed coaches - fantastic.
