Xiapu County
Xiapu is a county in the municipal region of Ningde, Fujian, People's Republic of China, located along a stretch of East China Sea coast, with many harbours and islands. It is bordered by Fuding City and Zherong County to the north, Fu'an City and Ningde's urban area to the west, and—in Fuzhou City—Luoyuan County to the south.

霞浦山海兼備：境內的楊家溪，全場58公裏，素有海國桃源之譽，是國家級旅遊風景名勝區、國家水利風景區、溪水婉轉輕柔，兩岸峽谷峰巒疊嶂，青山郁郁蔥蔥，鳥語花香，一派靈秀。

This place lies against mountains, faces the sea, has picturesque landscapes and a pleasant climate, and has been known as a land of fish and rice and a coastal county with flourishing culture. This place is Xiapu County, the most ancient county in East Fujian and a livable beautiful coastal county.
Located in the northeast of Fujian Province and on the northwest shore of the Taiwan Strait, Xiapu is a coastal county which has the largest waters, the longest the most islands, and reefs and the widest shallow sea and intertidal zones in Fujian Province. The meandering golden coastline has gone through the baptism of winds and waves for thousands of years. Time brings great changes to Xiapu and shapes a dreamy picture scroll of intertidal zone views. It is a unique gift of nature for the ancient county with a history of over 1,000 years.
Every year, it attracts nearly 400,000 photography enthusiasts to take photos and have a tour here. Photos of intertidal zones in Xiapu have traveled in space by Shenzhou 9 spacecraft, appeared on the Picture Scroll of China, the log-in window of Tencent QQ, and on the stamp series Beautiful China launched by the State Post Bureau. The beautiful views of sunrise over the sea in Huazhu Village, Sansha Town were telecast live by China Central Television, the fine view of Xiapu was shown at the opening of the Spring Festival Gala, the S-shaped Bay of Shajiang Town appeared in the advertising film for the Rio Olympics…
Xiapu County boasts mountain and sea resources: the Yangjia Stream extends 58 kilometers in Xiapu. It has been known as a coastal county of happiness and peace and is a national scenic area and a national water conservancy scenic area. The meandering clear stream runs through a valley flanked by lush mountains with singing birds and fragnant flowers.

Xiapu is a coastal county in Ningde, Fujian Province. It has the longest coast line in Fujian and the largest mudflat in China. Xiapu attracts a lot of tourists and photographers for its unique coastal scenery. Due to the pleasant seawater temperature and plenty of sunshine, the Xiapu mudflats are rich in kelp, laver, oyster and yellow croakers. Locals living along the beach are mainly engaged in marine culture. The bamboo poles, fish nets and stone columns that are inserted in the mudflats are used to dry kelp, laver, oyster and other marine products.
