Yachats Brewing and Farmstore Tour
Here's a tour of the Yachats Farmstore and soon to be completed Yachats Brewery. This was shot in August 2014. The brewery and tasting room is scheduled to be open before the end of the year. In the meantime visit the Farm Store for some amazing local food and drinks, organic produce, gardening supplies, fermenting books and tools and more. This store was opened in 2013 by owners Nathan and Cicely Bernard to provide Yachats with a local source of delicious food, brews and more. They're right on Highway 101 in yachats. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2017....I spent Christmas at the Oregon Coast...so here is some of my footage from that. I was going to set much of this to music...but the sound of the ocean was pretty awesome in itself. If you love the ocean and scenery, this is a good vlog for you. I didn't see a ton of animals but I was able to film Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, and various sea birds.
I filmed in Yachats, Florence, and in between. Devil's Churn, Thor's Well, and Spouting Horn are all seen here.

Huge Wave Explosions! Shore Acres Storm Watching Oregon Coast
Shore Acres State Park is easily the best storm watching spot on the Oregon Coast and may just be one of the best spots in the world! The HUGE waves and resulting spectacular towering fountains of water (200'+) can be seen both north & south from many spots within the park. And, if you are lucky, you may get a glimpse of King Neptune or Poseidon, @1:20 in the video. Watching the waves crash in can be mesmerizing! If this sort of stuff is your cup of tea, 11 minutes is not enough! If you feel that all the waves look the same, skip to 8:00 in the video and watch from there.

A retired park ranger, superintendent, and deputy director for California State Parks, he brings an array of experience from law enforcement to land and facilities management. He is a past president of the California State Park Rangers Association, a former Delta Protection Commissioner, former Yachats Parks and Commons Commissioner, and serves on the Executive Board of Lincoln County Communications.
