This video includes Fossil Exhibit Trail, Big Badlands, Pinnacles, Conata Basin, Burns Basin, Panorama Point, White River Valley Overlook, Yellow Mounds and Bigfoot Pass Overlook. This is a truly amazing place and was formed from hundreds of thousands of years of erosion. Badlands NP has arguably the most abundant fossil beds to date!

Badlands National Park Drive (Time Lapse)
The last park of the road trip! It’s unbelievable. It’s important to mention that the park is in the entire video, however, since it is spread out and we decided to travel along the southern part then north, we are not in the park for parts of this video.
We begin the drive on Curry Table road, passing White River Visitor Center before heading north along the Big Foot Trail adjacent to the Park. There was a huge storm brewing to the East, with the Sun setting on the West. Minute 6:00 through 7:30 truly displays the beauty of each one, showing me some of the most memorable experiences of the entire trip.
We follow Sage Creek Road through the park and link up with South Dakota Highway 240, which leads us through the park passing sites such as Pinnacles Overlook, Yellow Mounds Overlooks, Homestead Overlook, Panorama Point and the Ben Reifel Visitor Center before exiting the park in the Northeast Entrance.

Take a drive with us as we explore Badlands Loop Road, hike Medicine Root Loop and make our way to Sheep Mountain Table for a spectacular sunset. The highlight of our time here was seeing the majestic bighorn sheep, the colorful mounds at Yellow Mounds Overlooks and the incredible views that this park has to offer by car and on foot.
