Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground - Madison, FL
The Stuck Family had a fantastic Labor Day weekend with lots of friends at the Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground in Madison, FL.
We have been waiting a long time to try this park and the fun and activities did not disappoint!
I'll be honest that the sites leave a lot to be desired, though. Try a lakefront site, they looked to be better, and do not let a staff member tell you that you will not fit, like we did. There were all kinds of campers in those spots... opposing slideouts, Class A's, triple axle toyhaulers, etc.
Also the park is in need of some maintenance / updating. We expected things to be a little nicer for the cost per night.
The ATV traffic and traffic in general is heavy! Maybe this is because it was a holiday weekend. That's not really a complaint in and of itself, but the park is laid back with their rules (which we enjoy aside from this aspect), so speed limit is not enforced... or age of driving. We saw children way under the age of 10 driving ATV's in the park without adult supervision!
But we did still have a great time and will most likely return :)

First Full Day at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Madison Florida. There is so much to do that you are guaranteed to go to bed tired! We swam, rode water slides, floated on the lazy river, rode the train, bounced and jumped on/off inflatables in the lake, and the fun goes on.

Our park is located in Madison, Fl off of I-10 (Exit 258). We have numerous cabins, tent sites, & full hook up RV sites. Your family & friends are sure to enjoy our 60 ft high water slide, lazy river, pirate themed splash pad, & zero entry swimming pool. Our park also offers putt putt golf, kayaking, fishing lakes,ATV trails, basketball & volleyball courts. Every weekend we have a new theme for our daily scheduled activities. Riding 4 wheelers at Jellystone Campground in Madison, Fl(I have no affiliation). Touring around the atv section of campground and found a hole just a little too deep. All sand and no bottom. I was wearing clothes I planned on wearing the rest of the night or else I would have got out. I found out my winch doesn't work too, bad timing.
