McLeods chip shop review - inverness scotland
Here's our review of a large fish supper from McLeods fish & chip shop located in the city of inverness, Grant Street highlands of Scotland.
They have 2 awards for Scotlands best fish and chips they have another board that shows where the potatoes are from also where the fish is from.
The place looked bright, clean and staff seemed friendly.
Only issue i had was there was no irn bru left so i had to settle for diet irn bru.
I got a large fish supper for £8.20 and can of juice was £1.10
Batter on the fish was nice and crisp, chips were ace.
I gave this place 5 stars as i will be back.

INVERNESS ANGLING CLUB SALMON RIVER NESS
A wonderful angling club like no other in the British Isles, with the heart of the club being the hut at the little isle, you'll find hot drinks, fishy chat and cheeky banter when the fish don't bite.
The the second to last Saturday of the season will see an angling family get together with a bank side BBQ, assorted food, drinks, raffle and a specially smoked salmon is prepared by the waters edge for the event.
To me, the club is a Highland Gemwith a very warm welcome to visiting anglers.
Special thanks to Wes and Roz from Youfishscotland.com for film footage, advice and encouragement

Once In Your Lifetime Official Trailer
On a Salmon Beat in the Highlands of Scotland four Fly fishers from South Africa, Canada, America and England will be Fly fishing for Wild Atlantic salmon, soon after they will then move further into the Highlands of Scotland to fly fish for the world famous Wild Brown Trout on the unforgiving West Coast of Scotland.
The locations will be remote and surrounded with natures wild and rugged mountains that blanket the Highlands of Scotland.
The species are indigenous to Scotland with only a few from around the world being lucky enough to get to these locations.
With Fly fishing accompanies the imprint left on the minds of the Fly fisher, the friends that they make on the way and the memories that they create. The Bloody History that created Scotland is still here for our Fly fishers to see. While sipping a Highland Malt the Myths and the fairy tales will flow over the camp fire.
With breath taking cinematography and expressive views from the Fly fishers the film will show real life fly fishing in some of the most beautiful locations in the world.
The film will break away from the traditional Fly fishing form, telling the true story, facts and fictions of four Fly fishers whom have never Fly fished in Scotland before producing a Film that portrays their passion, devotion and love for the sport with no illusions left out.
