Preview: Dó Paper-making through Zó Project
Vietnamese Dó paper has a history dating back to the 13th Century as canvas for artwork and religious scrolls. Today, there are only a handful of villages that still produce this fine paper. Zó Project is a Hanoi-based social enterprise that is going to change this for the better.

Hanoi Train Track Street, Life On The Line, How To Visit ??
There's a residential street in Hanoi, Vietnam that a speeding train passes straight through twice a day. The street is so narrow that all residents must ensure their bikes and precious personal belongings, as well as their roaming children, are all safely inside the house before the train passes.
Recently seen more and more tourists flock to train street, hoping to capture that perfect Instagram pose while walking the lines or witness the madness of a speeding train rushing just inches from the buildings.
To locals, the train street has been there for ages, and very few gave a damn about its tourist potential. But at least since 2014, the track, and the neighbourhoods, have seen a surge of visiting travelers. Tripadvisor really did its job perfectly. Just a search on the travel website will give you countless comments on the train street. Of course they are countable, but the level of curiosity expressed there looks amazing.
Hanoi Train street, is located between Trần Phú and Phùng Hưng, you can find it on Google Maps:
Time to see train:
Mon – Fri: 6 am; 7 pm;
Weekend: 9.15 am; 11.35 am; 3.20 pm; 5.45 pm; 6.40 pm; 7.10 pm;

ACAM Centennial Alumni Project: Retelling UBC’s History from an Asian Canadian Lens
The ACAM Centennial Alumni Project looks back on the UBC’s past 100 years to uncover the unknown histories of its Asian Canadian communities. When we talk about UBC having a large Asian student demographic, what
kinds of conversations do we have? Over the last 100 years, the university has changed drastically since its first graduating class in 1916. To celebrate UBC's Centennial, the ACAM Centennial Alumni Project is centred around discovering and sharing stories about the UBC experience from the perspective of earlier Asian Canadian graduates.
Dominique Bautista is fortunate and humbled to be the primary researcher and producer for this research project and film series, shot and edited by Alejandro Yoshizawa, Tyler Mark, and Denise Fong, and supported by ACAM Director, Dr. Chris Lee, Dr. Henry Yu, and other ACAM faculty. Most importantly, this research would not be possible without the trust, commitment, and support or community members.

Child Surgery Vietnam NL
Child Surgery Vietnam & Center II
