20 Things to do in Chiang Mai, Thailand Travel Guide Video Transcript:
Today we’re taking you around a city that we’ve been to many times before: Chiang Mai. Located in the heart of Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is a growing city with laid back vibes, temples sprinkled around every corner, and a foodie scene that will make you drool. This is a destination where you come to unwind and that’s exactly what we did during our month long visit. Now let’s get started with this tour of Chiang Mai (清邁) so you can see what this city is all about:
One of the best things you can do in Chiang Mai is ditch the map and get lost inside the old city. It’s along the quiet back lanes that you’ll find cozy cafes, terracotta gardens, unvisited temples, and a little flavour of the old Chiang Mai.
As you’ve probably figured out, we’re not really into nightlife, but Chiang Mai does have lots of bars where you can enjoy a drink or two. We kept things light with a Chang beer.
And that’s a wrap for our visit to Chiang Mai, Thailand. We hope this video gave you a little taste of what this city is all about. We’ll be the first to tell you that we barely scratched the surface in terms of everything Chiang Mai (清迈) has to offer, but that being said, the goal of our time here was to relax, eat well, see friends, and catch up on work. As always, if you have any other suggestions of things to do, places to visit, and restaurants to eat at, feel free to share those with fellow travellers in the comments below. Until next time!
This is part of our Travel in Thailand video series showcasing Thai food, Thai culture and Thai cuisine.

Top Attractions in Loei Province Thailand and Chiang Khan
Drone footage covering the top attractions in Loei and Chiang Khan (Isaan/Northeastern Thailand including the Walking Street (Chai Khong Road) and main tourist area and attractions better known as Walking Street, which runs parallel to the Mekong River and Laos. Where much of the charm comes in mornings with a procession of monks collecting alms (Tak Baht/Bintabaht) along Chiang Khan’s walking street (between 06:00 AM and 08:00 AM) from surrounding temples. Further out in Loei is Phu Pa Por Mountains (ภูป่าเปาะ เลย) with drone footage over Thailand's Kunming and Mount Fuji 2 which are famous landmarks in these scenic parts of Loei Province near the Laos border. Also views from above Huai Krathing Reservoir in Loei, Isaan (Northeastern Thailand) taken by drone over the lake and reservoir surrounded by mountains. And the lake boat cruises below which host eating and dinners up until 17:30PM daily. These off the beaten track attractions in Loei are in Thailand’s Northeastern (Isaan) region.

Hey guys so this is my top 10 things that i did in my 5 weeks in Thailand :) everyone has different opinions but these where the things that i loved the most.
10: Butterfly Park/Waterfall in Chiang Mai : this was a stop over before heading to our stay in the jungle but it was so magical and came at just the right time.
09: The White Temple : Chiang Rai: one of the world most famous modern temples, it is so beautiful from the outside, almost like a scene out of frozen.
08: Bangkok : so many people told me negative stuff about Bangkok but i loved it, the vibe the energy its all incredible. If you manage to be there for Songkran try plan your trip around it, it is honestly such an amazing experience,
07: Koh Phi Phi : This is so many people’s favourite place and I did love it, the sights are incredible, but if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay Koh Phi Phi is known for its amazing party scene, and is full of tourists, but as far as sight seeing definitely one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever seen.

05: Animal welfare centre Koh Lanta : this is a must do for anyone who loves animals, it is a place where you can help and take care of all the abused and abandoned animals.
04: Pai: one of the coolest places i’ve ever visited, the vibe the people, the FOOD the nightlife everything in Pai is so chilled and hippie like its incredible.
03: Au Nong Krabi : The best sunsets I have ever seen in my life, from the tiger temple to the centre and beaches and islands this place is just incredible.

I will definitely return and stay there again.
01: Living in the Chiang Mai Jungle : this was the most amazing and authentic experience of my time in Thailand, from living and eating with the tribes, to helping out at the elephant rescue centre to the adventures of zip lining and river rafting, Chiang Mai is just incredible, the clubbing in the centre to the people to the vibe, this was definitely my favourite place in Thailand.
