Château-Richer is a small town situated in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada. Located on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River east of Quebec City, Château-Richer is the seat for the Côte-de-Beaupré Regional County Municipality. The first rural parish in New France was established there in 1678 and many of the oldest families in Quebec first settled there.     Mont-Sainte-Anne is a ski resort in eastern Canada, located in the town of Beaupré, Quebec, about 40 km northeast of Quebec City. The mountain is part of the Laurentian mountain chain and has a summit elevation of 800 m above sea level with a vertical drop of 625 m . There are 71 trails covering 71 km on three different sides of the mountain, and 19 trails covering 15.2 km are available for night skiing on the highest vertical for night skiing in Canada. The average natural snowfall at the summit is 475 cm .
