Corpach Golden harvest shipwreck
The Golden Harvest, or the Corpach Wreck, was built in 1975 but ran aground on December 8, 2011 during a heavy storm and has been there ever since. The old fishing vessel, with Ben Nevis in the background, has become one of the most iconic images of the area.

Fort William and Corpach - Summer 2015
I created this video with footage from my travels in the Fort William and Corpach regions of Scotland. I spent a weekend in those twin towns during my Study Abroad trip at the University of Stirling, Scotland. The background music is one of my personal favorites, Breathe In Breathe Out by The Afters.
The Corpach Wreck
She has become known as, The Corpach Wreck, however, her real name is MV Dayspring. She was built in 1975 and in her prime an excellent fishing vessel bringing mackerel and herring. She was renamed Golden Harvest by new owners and made her last voyage under her own power in 2001. She was left moored for several years at Kinlochleven Pier. Due to a raiser chain failure during a heavy storm she ran aground near the Corpach Sea Lock on the 8th December 2011 and has lain there ever since.
Drone | The West Highland way: Glencoe - Fort William
The #West Highland way is #154Km or 96miles long distance route through some of the #best #landscapes in #Scotland. Especially the last part of the route. The route starts at Milngavie passes through Mugdock Country Park, follows the shores of Loch Lomond, passing Ben Lomond, through and finishes at #Gordon Square in #Fort William.
We walked the last 60 km of this track from the bridge of #Orchy to #Fort William. Our backpacks did not only contain the general necessities like water and food but also a phantom 4….....With exceptionally good weather (read: it did not rain) we shot some beautiful aerial footage of the unspoiled Scottish landscape along the West Highland way.
This video shows the beautiful, unspoiled and spectacular Scottish landscape between #Glencoe Resort and #Fort William including the famous Devil’s Staircase, Loch Leven, Lairigmor. Some of them are located in the designated National Scenic Area.
