Hawkesbury Upton is a village in South Gloucestershire, England, east of the much smaller Hawkesbury. It lies north of Horton, east of Dunkirk and south of Alderley and Hillesley. Hawkesbury Upton is close to the A46 road. The village lies on the Cotswold Way and exhibits many of the characteristics of a Cotswold village, including use of the local limestone in the majority of the buildings. The village has two pubs – the Beaufort Arms and the Fox Inn, both on the High Street – a primary school, a village shop, a post office and a hair salon. There is also a village hall with a recreation ground and a cricket club.

1. Blenheim Palace Woodstock
Blenheim & Woodstock was a railway station constructed in the neoclassical style which served the town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace in the English county of Oxfordshire. The station, as well as the line, was constructed by the Duke of Marlborough and was privately run until 1897 when it became part of the Great Western Railway. The number of trains serving the station was cut in the late 1930s, and again in 1952 down to only six trains a day. The last train ran on 27 February 1954 adorned with a wreath. The station building was initially converted into a garage and petrol station. Then the forecourt of the site was no longer used as a petrol station, but for used car sales only with a building company using some of the land behind the station. Admiral Hood Monument, Compton Dundon, Somerset.

The Hood monument is a memorial column to Sir Samuel Hood on a hill near Butleigh in the parish of Compton Dundon, Somerset, England.
The monument is a 110 feet (33.5 m) Tuscan column on a cuboid ashlar base set on two tall steps, the lower supporting a wrought iron railing enclosure. There was a doorway at the base but this was sealed in 1990.[2] The crown is a sculpture on a nautical theme with the sterns of four galleons interspersed with four mainsails above laurel wreaths and surmounted by a naval crown.[3]
It was paid for by public subscription and designed by Henry Goodridge.[1]
It has been designated by English Heritage as a grade II* listed building.[4]
There is an inscription written by Robert Southey.
It was originally linked to the Hood family home at Butleigh by a mile long avenue of cedar trees
