Wisborough Green is a village and civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex, England, 2 miles west of Billingshurst on the A272 road. Newbridge, where the A272 crosses the River Arun 1 mile east of the village, was the highest point of the Arun navigation, and the southern end of the Wey and Arun Canal. Newbridge Wharfe, on the southern side of the bridge, was an important part of the local transport system in the nineteenth century.

1. Blenheim Palace Woodstock
Blenheim & Woodstock was a railway station constructed in the neoclassical style which served the town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace in the English county of Oxfordshire. The station, as well as the line, was constructed by the Duke of Marlborough and was privately run until 1897 when it became part of the Great Western Railway. The number of trains serving the station was cut in the late 1930s, and again in 1952 down to only six trains a day. The last train ran on 27 February 1954 adorned with a wreath. The station building was initially converted into a garage and petrol station. Then the forecourt of the site was no longer used as a petrol station, but for used car sales only with a building company using some of the land behind the station. Kent Country Walk - Detling-North Downs Way-Pilgrim's Way-Thurnham round

Our video is a guided walk in the county of Kent from a small village called Detling near Maidstone. We start opposite the Cock Horse Inn and follow the North Downs Way along the top of the Downs, visiting Thurnham Castle on the way. The views are stunning. We return to Detling along the Pilgrim's Way, a minor road, through Broad Street and Thurnham. A moderate walk along the North Downs Way with some steep inclines and declines returning on the much easier minor road along the Pilgrim's Way. Approx 8.25 miles allow 3½ hours using OS Explorer Map 184, Maidstone & the Medway Towns.

So this is it. The final instalment of Piers & Emma's Welsh odyssey. It's been
exciting, it's been emotional. At times, it's been surreal. Sunday afternoon managed all three. Their trip ended with a feast at Cardiff Castle joined by the great and the good including Matt Tebbutt, Paul Potts and Colin Jackson. Everyone tucked into a three-course meal created by the Welsh Culinary Team. Speeches were made, Welsh cakes were eaten and then, they went home. Diolch Piers & Emma, it's been epic.
