Vernon is a city in the Okanagan region of the Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada. It is 440 km northeast of Vancouver, British Columbia. Named after Forbes George Vernon, a former MLA of British Columbia who helped establish the Coldstream Ranch in nearby Coldstream. The City of Vernon was incorporated on December 30, 1892. 1. Predator Ridge Golf Resort Vernon
Predator Ridge Golf Resort is a 36-hole golf resort community in the Okanagan Valley outside Vernon, British Columbia. Predator Ridge Resort spans 1,200 acres and is home to a community of over 600 people. The community was acquired by Wesbild Holdings Ltd in 2007. Opened in 1991, Predator Ridge originally consisted of 27-holes, designed by Les Furber. The three nine-hole courses were named after resident birds of prey: The Osprey and The Red Tail and eventually The Peregrine built in 2000. To expand into a 36-hole golf facility, architect Doug Carrick was hired to build 9 new holes as well as renovate the original 9-hole Peregrine course. This new 18-hole golf course was renamed The Predator Course. In 2010, Carrick opened another 18-hole course which was named The Ridge Course. Predator ...

Pelham Bay Park is a municipal park located in the northeast corner of the New York City borough of the Bronx. It is, at 2,772 acres , the largest public park in New York City. The park is more than three times the size of Manhattan's Central Park. The park is operated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation . Pelham Bay Park contains many geographical features, both natural and man-made. The park includes several peninsulas, including Rodman's Neck, Tallapoosa Point, and the former Hunter and Twin Islands. A lagoon runs through the center of Pelham Bay Park, and Eastchester Bay splits the southwestern corner from the rest of the park. There are also several recreational areas within the park. British Columbia's Okanagan Valley is the place to be. A near perfect four season climate, nature, sports, culture and shopping along with an International Airport. Boating in the summer and skiing in the winter, low crime rate and compared to many parts of the world a relatively low housing cost.
One more thing is that there is opportunity to foster your business and entrepreneurial skills..
Is British Columbia Perfect? NO. But as someone who has lived here for more than 40 years, it is not bad, and in many videos I've said that sometimes it seems like we are in a world of our own. Away from all or most of the negative stuff that envelops much of the rest of the world.
