Delroy Easton Grant is a convicted rapist who carried out a series of offences of burglary, rape and sexual assault dating between October 1992 and May 2009 in the South East London area of England. Grant, also known as the Minstead Rapist and latterly the Night Stalker, is thought to have been active since 1990, and has a distinctive modus operandi, preying on elderly women who live alone. He is suspected of over 100 offences from 1990 to 2009. In 1998, the Metropolitan Police launched the dedicated Operation Minstead team to investigate the crimes, based out of Lewisham police station. . 1. Rufus Stone Minstead
William II , the third son of William the Conqueror, was King of England from 1087 until 1100, with powers over Normandy, and influence in Scotland. He was less successful in extending control into Wales. William is commonly known as William Rufus , perhaps because of his ruddy appearance or, more likely, due to having red hair as a child that grew out in later life.William was a figure of complex temperament, capable of both bellicosity and flamboyance. He did not marry, nor did he produce any offspring, legitimate or otherwise, which has led to speculations of possible homosexuality by historians. He died after being struck by an arrow while hunting, under circumstances that remain unclear. Circumstantial evidence in the behaviour of those around him raise strong, but unproven, suspicion...

This walk is from a place called Balmerlawn in the New Forest. The New Forest is a national park in the south of the United Kingdom.

Each week the video of a featured walk receives pride of place on the website. Visitors to the site can find out the routes videos are filmed on, techniques for improving their walking, interviews with personalities associated with the British countryside and a whole host of tips and aids to make their own walk videos.

The youtube channel is the venue for some of the more niche videos. If walkers really want to get the inside take on the filming process, they can walk the walks with a directors commentary. Also, the tips and aids shown on the site are expanded upon on the youtube channel.

New Forest Walking: Brockenhurst Circular Walk via Setley Pond 13 October 2012

A 6.5 mile circular walk from Brockenhurst station via Setley Pond. The first part of the walk was through woods and fields, the latter part of the walk went across typical New Forest heathland. Much of the ground was very wet from the recent heavy rainfall. the walk took place in sunny weather on Saturday 13 October 2012.

Furzey Gardens 2012

An unusual, peaceful garden and although it was a very windy day we enjoyed the walk around. We were told Typhoon Tower was named because it overlooked a meadow where a Typhoon plane crashed in World War Two. The gardens provide opportunities for young people with learning disabilities and we appreciated all the work they put in.

Tuckton, Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Walk.
