Fuerteventura is one of the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa, politically part of Spain. It is the second largest of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife. It was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in May 2009.
Fuerteventura, with its 3,000 sunshine hours a year, was placed firmly on the world stage as a major European holiday destination. The summer Trade Winds and winter swells of the Atlantic make this a year-round surfers' paradise. Excellent sandy beaches are found in many locations. Western beaches, such as those around El Cotillo, can experience strong surf.

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Sandstrand von Playa de Esquinzo. Das Zentrum von Morro Jable bietet zahlreiche Einkaufs- und Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten sowie Restaurants und Bars und ist ca. 8 km entfernt. Die Distanz zum Flughafen von Fuerteventura beträgt ca. 78 km.

Das Hotel verfügt über insgesamt 512 Wohneinheiten, welche sich auf 10 Gebäude mit je 3 Etagen verteilen. Es bietet Ihnen einen Empfangsbereich mit Rezeption, WLAN/Internetecke (gegen Gebühr), Lift, 2 Restaurants, 2 Bars, medizinische Versorgung (gegen Gebühr) und einen Minimarkt. In der gepflegten Außenanlage befinden sich 3 Swimmingpools (1 Swimmingpool im „Family Princess“ - Bereich) mit Sonnenterrasse und Poolbar. Liegen und Schirme sind am Pool kostenfrei verfügbar. Zudem befindet sich ein Bereich für FKK im Adult Only-Bereich.

In April 2018 we booked the first time on the canary island Fuerteventura the all inclusive offer of the hotel Occidental Jandia Playa in Playa de Jandia. The hotel of the Barceló group is a beautiful complex in the middle of a well-tended tropical garden. The hillside location allows many places a wonderful view of the sea. The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean, the food tastes good and the heated pool provides a Caribbean feeling at the pool bar, we were very pleasantly surprised ...

Im April 2018 buchten wir das erste mal auf der Kanarischen Insel Fuerteventura das all inclusive Angebot vom Hotel Occidental Jandia Playa in Playa de Jandia. Es ist eine wunderschöne Anlage mitten in einem gepflegten tropischen Garten. Die Hanglage erlaubt von vielen Orten einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Anlage sauber, das Essen schmeckt und der beheizte Pool sorgt für Karibikfeeling an der Poolbar, wir waren sehr positive überrascht...
