Polesworth is a large village and civil parish in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. In the 2001 census it had a population of 8,439, inclusive of the contiguous subvillages of St Helena, Dordon and Hall End directly to the south. The population had decreased slightly to 8,423 at the 2011 Census. This population technically allows Polesworth market town status. Polesworth is located close to the northern tip of Warwickshire 3 miles northwest of Atherstone and adjacent to the border with Staffordshire, and is only 4 miles from Tamworth.
