Historically located in the county of Berkshire, it was transferred to Oxfordshire for the purposes of administration in 1974. Wallingford is situated 12 miles north of Reading, 13 miles south of Oxford and 11 miles north west of Henley-on-Thames.     The Aston Martin Heritage Trust Museum is an automobile museum presenting the history of Aston Martin cars. It is located in Dorcester Road in the village of Drayton St Leonard, South Oxfordshire, England. The museum was founded in 1998 and opened in 2002. It is housed in a 15th-century barn, built by the monks of Dorchester Abbey. The collection ranges from the oldest surviving Aston Martin car to a Vanquish Volante pre-production model dating from 2013.The museum is run by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, located on the same site. The Aston Martin Owners Club also has its headquarters here.
