1. Hampton Court PalaceEast Molesey Hampton Court Palace is a royal palace in the borough of Richmond upon Thames, 11.7 miles south west and upstream of central London on the River Thames. Building of the palace began in 1515 for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, a favourite of King Henry VIII. In 1529, as Wolsey fell from favour, the cardinal gave the palace to the King to check his disgrace; Henry VIII later enlarged it. Along with St James's Palace, it is one of only two surviving palaces out of the many owned by King Henry VIII. In the following century, King William III's massive rebuilding and expansion work, which was intended to rival Versailles, destroyed much of the Tudor palace. 2. Avebury Stone CircleAvebury Avebury is a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles, around the village of Avebury in Wiltshire, in southwest England. One of the best known prehistoric sites in Britain, it contains the largest megalithic stone circle in the world. It is both a tourist attraction and a place of religious importance to contemporary pagans. Constructed over several hundred years in the Third Millennium BC, during the Neolithic, or New Stone Age, the monument comprises a large henge with a large outer stone circle and two separate smaller stone circles situated inside the centre of the monument. Get Shot in near Markyate, Hertfordshire
Sunday 16th January 2011 along Half Moon Lane which is a public byway that runs from Pepperstock towards Markyate in Hertfordshire. The lane runs adjacent to The Shooting Ground @ Broomhills 2010 Ltd and you can clearly hear (and see) shot raining down. This happens on a daily basis and is completely illegal, you simply can not drop shot on to a public place where walkers, horse riders, cyclists, green laners and quad riders frequent. Despite many, many complaints the club continues to flout the law and put the general public in danger. You can clearly see a branch get shot off a tree in one of the clips here - you would not want anything of that velocity hitting you, your children, your pet or your horse!
