The Federación Argentina de Football was a dissident football association of Argentina that organised its own championships from 1912 to 1914. The Argentine Football Association did not recognised those championships until both associations were merged in 1914. Currently all the championships organised by the FAF are considered officials by the AFA.

  • 3. Parque Nacional El Palmar Colon
    El Palmar National Park is one of Argentina's national parks, located on the center-east of the province of Entre Ríos, midway between the cities of Colón and Concordia . It has an area of about 85 km² and was created in 1966 for the preservation of its characteristic yatay palm trees . The park has a temperate-humid savanna ecosystem, typical of the Argentine Mesopotamia. The terrain features patches of palm trees of several species, grassland, small woods and forest, interrupted by streams flowing east into the Uruguay River. The local fauna includes woodpeckers, ñandús, foxes, viscachas, and capybaras.

  • 5. Salto Grande Hydroelectric Dam Concordia
    The Salto Grande Dam is a large hydroelectric dam on the Uruguay River, located between Concordia, Argentina, and Salto, Uruguay; thus is shared between the two countries. The construction of the dam began in 1974 and was completed in 1979. Power is generated by fourteen Kaplan turbines, totaling the installed capacity to 1,890 MW . The dam passes approximately 64,000 cubic metres of water per second, compared to the current average flow of the Uruguay River at 4,622 cubic metres . The reservoir has a total area of 783 square kilometres , while its maximum dimensions are 140 by 9 kilometres .
