Grimsby, also known as Great Grimsby, is a large coastal English town and seaport in North East Lincolnshire, of which it is the administrative centre. It lies on the South Bank of the Humber Estuary, close to where it reaches the North Sea. It developed as a major sea port, hosting the largest fishing fleet in the world by the mid-20th century. The fishing industry declined dramatically after the Cod Wars. Since then the town has battled with post-industrial decline, although the council has given encouragement to food manufacturing since the 1990s.     The International Centre for Birds of Prey, formerly the National Birds of Prey Centre, in the United Kingdom houses a large collection of birds of prey with over 60 species of owls, eagles and hawks. It works towards the conservation of birds of prey through education, captive breeding, research and rehabilitation. The centre is located at Boulsdon near Newent in Gloucestershire. The Director is Jemima Parry-Jones. In March 2013 a new branch was opened at Duncombe Park in Helmsley, North Yorkshire.

    Filey is a small town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the East Riding of Yorkshire, it is part of the borough of Scarborough between Scarborough and Bridlington on the North Sea coast. Although it was a fishing village, it has a large beach and became a popular tourist resort. According to the 2011 UK census, Filey parish had a population of 6,981, an increase on the 2001 UK census figure of 6,819.
