O Viaduto 13, conhecido também como Viaduto do Exercito, é a denominação dada a um viaduto ferroviário existente na Ferrovia do Trigo, a EF-491, no trecho entre os municípios de Vespasiano Corrêa e Muçum, no Rio Grande do Sul. Esta ferrovia está atualmente sob concessão da Rumo Logística.
Com seus 143 metros de altura e 509 de extensão, é o maior viaduto ferroviário das Américas e o terceiro mais alto do mundo.

City Description:
São Paulo, Brazil’s vibrant financial center, is among the world's most populous cities, with numerous cultural institutions and a rich architectural tradition. Its iconic buildings range from its neo-Gothic cathedral and the 1929 Martinelli skyscraper to modernist architect Oscar Niemeyer’s curvy Edifício Copan. The colonial-style Pátio do Colégio church marks where Jesuit priests founded the city in 1554.The ornate Theatro Municipal hosts symphonic and ballet productions. The Mercado Municipal features cafes and produce stalls in a 1930s building with stained-glass windows. Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, a museum founded in 1905, showcases Brazilian art. South of downtown is Liberdade, a large Japanese cultural district. Bela Vista is home to an Italian community as well as the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art, which exhibits international works in a modern glass structure. The Jardins neighborhood has designer boutiques and upmarket cafes. Ibirapuera Park contains green lawns, lakeside trails and art galleries.
Weather and Events:
As a major metropolis, São Paulo is a year-round destination, but some peak periods include Apr–May and Nov–Dec. In summer (Dec–Feb), the weather is generally hot and humid, with occasional rainfall and storms. Fall (Mar–Apr) and winter (Jun–Aug) are cooler and drier. Key annual events include the massive Gay Pride Parade (May) and the Virada Cultural Festival (May), featuring concerts, art exhibits, films and other cultural events.

Around five hundred kilometres north of Rio De Janeiro, deep within the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, is a most remarkable place. Ouro Preto was discovered at the end of the seventeenth century by Portuguese gold prospectors. They found black gold which changed colour due to its iron content. Thus a prosperous gold town was born with fascinating Baroque and rococo architecture that has survived right up to the present day. The region’s substantial mineral resources helped to create numerous magnificent buildings such as the Igreja De São Francisco De Assis that was completed by the Franciscan Order in 1820. It is one of the most impressive Baroque churches in Latin America. Cleverly, and rather than pay excessive taxes to the Portuguese crown, the town’s colonials successfully hid much of their gold in the artwork of Ouro Preto’s sacred buildings. Thus the treasures created by human hand live on and are now the fabulous legacy of a truly golden past!
