The Hopeman Sandstone Formation is a geologic formation in Scotland. It preserves fossil footprints and body fossils from the Guadalupian Epoch in the Late Permian, to the Early Triassic, It preserves fossils and fossil footprints from various extinct animals such as pareiasaurs and dicynodonts, which are collectively often referred to as the Elgin Reptiles. The formation, named for the village of Hopeman, lies unconformably over the Devonian Upper Old Red Sandstone, and it underlies the waterlain sandstones of the Burghead Sandstone Formation. 1. Dunrobin Castle and Gardens Golspie
Dunrobin Castle is a stately home in Sutherland, in the Highland area of Scotland, and the family seat of the Earl of Sutherland and the Clan Sutherland. It is located 1 mile north of Golspie, and approximately 5 miles south of Brora, overlooking the Dornoch Firth. Dunrobin's origins lie in the Middle Ages, but most of the present building and the gardens were added by Sir Charles Barry between 1835 and 1850. Some of the original building is visible in the interior courtyard, despite a number of expansions and alterations that made it the largest house in the north of Scotland. After being used as a boarding school for seven years, it is now open to the public.

SCOTLAND HIGHLANDS ROAD TRIP | GLENCOE, HOPEMAN & EDINBURGH

A couple travelling around Scotland visiting the most amazing places - the highlands. Beautiful sights from around the village of Glencoe with a stopover at Loch Ness to see Nessie. Through the small town of Hopeman with a nearby windy beach finish the round trip in Edinburgh.

2019 Classic Cars Drive It Day Perth Airport Perthshire Scotland

Tour Scotland travel video of classic and vintage cars leaving Perth Airport by Scone on 2019 Drive It Day from Blairgowrie, Perthshire. The event started from Blairgowrie Golf Club through Blairgowrie prior to heading towards Abernyte and Rait and driving over Dalreichmoor towards Balbeggie and Scone to Perth Airport. The afternoon drive was through scenic parts of the Angus Glens, Glenshee and over Moulin Moor to Pitlochry for High Tea in the Atholl Palace Hotel. Every year Drive It Day is purposefully held on the Sunday nearest to the 23rd April. Because it commemorates the 64 cars that left London on the first day of the Thousand Mile Trial on 23 April 1900.

day 8 to our trip to Scotland we visited Loch Lomond , seen the loch and from there we drove to Luss , tour the village , have a wonderful time and after word we drove to Aperfoyle , and bought some stuff from The Scottish wool center.
