Hollesley is a village and civil parish in the Suffolk Coastal district of Suffolk in eastern England. Located on the Bawdsey peninsula five miles south-east of Woodbridge, in 2005 it had a population of 1,400 increasing to 1,581 at the 2011 Census. Hollesley Bay Prison is located nearby. The Irish writer Brendan Behan, arrested for I.R.A. activities in 1939, was sent there, subsequently describing his experiences in Borstal Boy. Since 2002 the prison has been repeatedly criticised for the apparently large number of escapes, which has led to the nickname Holiday Bay.

1. Port Lympne Wild Animal Park Lympne
Port Lympne Reserve near the town of Hythe in Kent, England is set in 600 acres and incorporates the historic mansion and landscaped gardens designed by architect Sir Herbert Baker for Sir Philip Sassoon during World War I. The estate near Lympne was purchased in 1973 by John Aspinall to solve lack of space at Howletts Wild Animal Park, and it was opened to the public in 1976. Since 1984 the animal park has been owned by a charity . The collection is known for being unorthodox, for the encouragement of close personal relationships between staff and animals, and for their breeding of rare and endangered species. Royalty and many other famous people have stayed at the mansion at the centre of the park. The rooms are lavishly decorated and the landscaped gardens have views of Romney Marsh.

Driving through the highlands on the way to Glencoe, Scotland Part 2

This is part 2 of a 2 part video of our drive through the highlands to our cottage in Glencoe, Scotland. The mountains were amazing and its a shame it wasnt more sunny. Its still good video and fun to watch. The music we had playing in the car was Forever Autumn from The War of the Worlds.

Interesting note: Glencoe is where Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was filmed.
