Accokeek , at the edge of the hill in Algonquin, is a census-designated place located in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The CDP is located on the Potomac River, borders Charles County and is approximately 17 miles from Washington, D.C. It is a part of the Washington metropolitan area. The population of the CDP, as of the 2010 United States Census was 10,573, making it the 118th most populous place in the state of Maryland. The National Museum of the Marine Corps is the historical museum of the United States Marine Corps. Located in Triangle, Virginia near MCB Quantico, the museum opened on November 10, 2006, and is now one of the top tourist attractions in the state, drawing over 500,000 people annually.In July 2013, the museum announced plans for a major expansion, to include sections on more modern Marine Corps history, such as the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing, a combat art gallery, and a war on terror gallery.

Mac's Reef -- Scuba Diving in Panama City Beach

Mac's Reef is considered an offshore dive site in Panama City Beach, meaning that the artificial reef (sunk in 2007) is about 10 miles south of the beach, in about 100 feet of water. This video shows a good example of the types of sea life you can see, with a resident Goliath Grouper swimming up the stairs at the end of the clip.
