Albstadt is the largest city in the district of Zollernalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on the Swabian Alb mountains, about halfway between Stuttgart and Lake of Constance.

The first fortress on the mountain was constructed in the early 11th century. STREET VIEW: Albstadt auf der Schwäbischen Alb in GERMANY

Wir haben in der Tiefgarage am Bürgerturm geparkt, welche sehr zu empfehlen ist. Der Rundgang beginnt deshalb vor der Tiefgarage im Kirchengraben. Anschließend geht es über die Bahnhofstraße in die Marktstraße und am Rathaus vorbei bis in die obere Vorstadt. Dann geht es zurück in der Kirchengraben und von dort in Bahnhofstraße und weiter in die Gartenstraße. Dort werfen wir einen kurzen Blick in die Schmiecha, welche mit frischem Schmelzwasser wieder deutlich hörbar rauscht. Durch die Untere Vorstadt geht es weiter in die Schmiechastraße und am Hallenbad vorbei in die Wilhelm Dodel Gasse. Quer über die Marktstraße geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

GERMANY: Sigmaringen, city castle [HD]

Sigmaringen Castle dominates the skyline of the town of Sigmaringen. The castle was rebuilt following a fire in 1893, and only the towers of the earlier medieval fortress remain.

The modern Schloss Sigmaringen owes its current size and appearance to three construction periods:
- The medieval castle from the 11th to 13th centuries, built under the Counts of Sigmaringen-Spitzenberg and Spitzenberg-Helfenstein.
- The renovations and expansion of the castle under Counts of Werdenberg.
- The renovations to make the castle into a princely residence for the Princes of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen

The castle and museums may be visited throughout the year, but only on guided tours (in German only). The castle rooms, fully furnished, give the visitor a taste of the lifestyle of the nobility in previous centuries. The Hall of Weapons displays one of the largest private weapon collections in Europe.

Sigmaringen is located on the southern edge of the Swabian Alb, a plateau region in southern Baden-Württemberg. The castle was built below the narrow Donau (English: Danube) river valley.

STREET VIEW: Lindau im Bodensee in GERMANY

Wir starten am Eingang zur Schmiedgasse auf der Insel Lindau im Bodensee und gehen über den Marktplatz. Anschließend geht es weiter In Der Grub bis zur Peterskirche. Dann wechseln wir über die Schafgasse in die Maximilianstraße. Von dort geht es weiter bis zum Bahnhof und dann in den Hafen. Wir gehen dann wieder zurück in die Maximilianstraße und über den Marktplatz in die Linggstraße. Danach geht es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.

Lindau is a very beautiful and old city at Lake Constance in Southern Bavaria in Germany. The town is situated very close to Austria and a big tourist attraction.
