1. Cave of the Mounds Blue Mounds
Cave of the Mounds, a natural limestone cave located near Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, United States, is named for two nearby hills called the Blue Mounds. It is located in the southern slope of the east hill. The cave's beauty comes from its many varieties of mineral formations called speleothems. The Chicago Academy of Sciences considers the Cave of the Mounds to be the significant cave of the upper Midwest because of its beauty, and it is promoted as the jewel box of major American caves. In 1987, the United States Department of the Interior and the National Park Service designated the cave as a National Natural Landmark.

Boondocking at The Grove

Hi, I am Carolyn, RVrebel Girl. I have been traveling in the midwest area, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and my birth state of Illinois. I headed south to Florida, on my way back to midwest area now. I belong to Boondockers Welcome which allows me to camp for free at some unique places like 100Aker Woods in East Tennessee and the Grove.

I travel solo with my 4 legged family companion Danni. She is a 1 1/12 year old Morkie between 4.5-5 pounds looking for K9 ❤️ Love on the road.

We are retired because life is too short and tomorrow is not promised, so Im not gonna put off till tomorrow what Im healthy enough to do today.

Please join me on my travels. I am a part time RV’r, still need the home base to nest cuz the RV isn’t big enough for all my cowgirl boots and my cloths, but I am workin on it.

This fall and winter will be great! I will once again head towards the RTR in Quartzsite Az to meet up hopefully with RV and Van dwellers like Caravan Carolyn, Wandering Jimmy, Panda Monium (Ausia), and Schooner Bird.
