    Yusong Foot Spa is a free, natural hotspring located in Yusong, a district of Daejeon, South Korea. According to the Korean language signboard posted on the site, the Yusong Foot Spa opened October 5, 2007. It is an outdoor “wading pool” approximately 10 inches deep, with an irregular outline 60 feet long and averaging roughly 4 feet wide between edges finished with stones and benches allowing visitors and passersby to sit while dabbling their feet in the water. Parts of the bottom are lined with smooth rock and pebble to provide a foot massage to those strolling through the water. A gazebo covers one end of the wading pool. The Foot Spa is open year round, 24 hours a day, in a small park in downtown Yuseong, and is free to the public. The park features fountains, streams, colorful lig...

  • 4. Altyn Arashan Karakol
    Altyn Arashan is a valley and mountain resort near Karakol and Issyk Kul Lake, northeastern Kyrgyzstan. It lies along the trekking route from Teploklyuchenka . It is a hot spring development set in an alpine valley, containing the 5020 metre Pik Palatka in its southern part. It is said to include three groups of nitric thermals springs on the right side of the Arashan River, 20 km southeast of Karakol mountain, situated in a picturesque forest landscape at an altitude of 2350-2435 metres. The resort has numerous wooden sheds which contain hot sulfurous pools to cure various ailments. The resort is set in a botanical research area called the Arashan State Nature Reserve which has about 20 snow leopards and several bears.

    Beitou District is the northernmost of the twelve districts of Taipei City, Taiwan. The historical spelling of the district is Peitou. The name originates from the Ketagalan word Kipatauw, meaning witch. Beitou is the most mountainous and highest of Taipei's districts, encompassing a meadow with rivers running through the valley which have abundant steam rising from them; the result of geothermal warming. The valley is often surrounded by mist shrouding the trees and grass. Beitou is famous for its hot springs. In March 2012, it was named one of the Top 10 Small Tourist Towns by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan.

    Yangmingshan National Park is one of the nine national parks in Taiwan, located between Taipei and New Taipei City. The districts that house parts of the park grounds include Taipei's Beitou and Shilin Districts; and New Taipei's Wanli, Jinshan and Sanzhi Districts. The National Park is famous for its cherry blossoms, hot springs, sulfur deposits, fumaroles, venomous snakes, and hiking trails, including Taiwan's tallest dormant volcano, Seven Star Mountain .
