BAHAWALPUR ZOO IN PAKISTAN:
If you have got a passion and enjoy viewing wild Creatures, Bahawalpur Zoo is the ideal place to see. With several distinct sorts of bird and animal species, that this place will certainly provide you an adventure of a life.
This zoo was established in 1942 from the former Ameer of Bahawalpur. It was also called 'Sher Bagh' (Lion backyard). The zoo is spread over a place of 25-acres. From 1977 to 1982, the zoo stayed under the control of department of Livestock, Punjab.
This zoo retains Substantial importance from the others in Pakistan when it comes to the procreation of these lions. In any case, the zoo retains the pride of the procreation of Bengal tiger, dapple black and tiger bear for the first time in Pakistan.
The zoo houses an aquarium and zoological museum with stuffed birds, mammals and reptiles. Several peafowl will also be on display.
The location not merely serves as a place of pleasure but is enjoying a key Role in assisting research students about wildlife.
As we have a group of 5 people who are always in search of new historical places and when we hear about this Zoo we decide to make a plan to visit this beautiful zoo we took our car from Multan to Bahawalpur and reached zoo after two hour’s drive. Almost all species of animals as mentioned above are here and natural environment is provided to the animals and birds. Reptiles and other birds were also in healthy shape. The administration has provided great facilities for the birds and the animals. We spent almost full day there and enjoyed a lot. As tourism in Pakistan is getting very much attraction we invite all of the tourists from all over the world to come Pakistan and see the improvement in this area as well. Although we have visited Lahore Karachi and Peshawar zoo but this one is also quite nice and requires at least one visit in life. So viewers please come to this zoo and inform other people so that they can enjoy the wild life scenes here.
