Bainbridge Island may only be a 35-minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle but it is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Looking for things to do in San Juan islands. We love the San Juan Islands in Washington. This year we took the ferry to Friday Harbor and dropped our oldest son off for Canoe Island French Camp and spent several days exploring San Juan Island sights and activities. We had a blast.
