An April Visit to North Georgia's Gibbs Gardens
Called Georgia's hidden jewel, this magnificent 300-acre estate features more than 220 acres of gardens set in a mature hardwood forest with 30 spring-fed ponds, waterfalls and bridge crossings. Set in the rolling woodlands of north Cherokee County, Gibbs Gardens offers you a garden experience beyond description.
Gibbs Gardens is a treat any time of the year but it really puts on a show in the spring. April is the transition month for Gibbs Gardens. Following the magnificent Daffodil Festival, the Gardens come alive with new foliage on the trees and plants. On my visit, most of the late spring flowers had not come out but the Gardens sported the lightly colored new foliage that is so pretty.
The stars on this visit were the grand displays of annuals at the Gardens' entrance, the majestic Chinese Viburnums, and the red Japanese maples. The Japanese maples were stunning with bright sunshine backlighting their colorful foliage.

One of my favorite treats at north Georgia’s Gibbs Gardens is the early summer Daylily Garden. The Daylily Garden is a three-acre site that displays several hundred daylily varieties and over 100,000 plants.
The Daylily Garden is filled with daylilies featuring a wide variety of colors, shapes, sizes, and textures.

[HD] Tour of the World Largest Indoor Amusement Park inside the Biggest Mall in America. The name of the Amusement park is called Nickelodeon Universe and is located in Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. There are plenty of attractions and 3 roller coasters inside the mall.

One of the largest monolith in the world, Uluru is located in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Australia.
The sandstone formation stands 348 m (1,142 ft) high, rising 863 m (2,831 ft) above sea level with most of its bulk lying underground, and has a total circumference of 9.4 km (5.8 mi)
Known by its Colonial name of Ayers Rock, Uluru is sacred to the Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area.
9. The Crack of Silfra
Located in the Thingvallavatn Lake in the Thingvellir National Park in Iceland, Silfra is part of the Atlantic rift, Where you can dive into the crack between two continental plates-North American and European plates.
With a visibality of more than 100 meters, this place is regarded as one of the best diving sites in the world.
Visitors describe the Silfra diving experience as floating weightlessly through space.
8. Peaks of Meteora
In the greek peninsula you will find a dandy little place called the Meteora Rock Formations.
The nuns and monks have been living in these peaks for centuries, making these breathtaking vistas with its peaks and caverns actual monasteries.
The monasteries remain active to this day, though some peaks remain rather isolated destinations.
7. Salar de Uyuni (The Reflecting Desert)
Located in the Potosí and Oruro departments in southwest Bolivia, Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat at 10,582 square kilometers (4,086 sq mi).
When the rains sweep down onto the Uyuni Salt Flats, the entire place becomes an immense reflecting pool.
The rain water is absorbed slowly by the salt, and acts like a mirror, reflecting everything in sight and it seems there is no horizon, which creates an optical illusion in the photographs.
6. Cave of the Crystals
Nearly 300 meters below the Naicha Silver mine of Mexico there lies a crystal cave which contains some of the largest natural crystals ever found.
The cave's largest crystal found to date is 12 m (39 ft) in length, 4 m (13 ft) in diameter and 55 tons in weight.
The cave is extremely hot with air temperatures reaching up to 58 °C (136 °F) with 90 to 99 percent humidity.

Madagascar, isolated from rest of the world, the island is home to an abundance of plants and animals found nowhere else on Earth.

This landscape is the result from the long-term dissolution of soluble limestone bedrock. Formerly a massive slab of rock, rainwater has whittled it down into multiple, individual towers of stone.
4. The Fairy Chimneys
The fairy chimneys of Cappadocia in central Turkey are some of the unearthy things you will find here.
Here, tall spires of stone dot the landscape like some manner of bizarre growth.
Over time, the erosive forces of wind and water wore away much of the underlying soft material, leaving only slender towers with caps of tuff (hardened volcanic ash).
3. Devils Tower
Devils Tower is an igneous intrusion or laccolith in the Black Hills near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County, northeastern Wyoming, above the Belle Fourche River.
The Devils Tower is 1,267 feet (386 m) high and is believed to have formed more than 50 million years ago and remained buried beneath the ground up until roughly 2 million years ago.
Devils Tower was made famous in modern times by the 1977 movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but for many moons before that, tribal people had been visiting it, and regarded the area as a sacred site.
2. Mammoth Cave
Mammoth Cave the largest known cave system in the world with more than 390 miles (628 kilometers) worth of caves worm through the rocky depths.
The Green and Nolin Rivers course more than 30 miles through Mammoth Cave National Park, offering hours of boating, canoeing, fishing, and floodplain camping.
The cave also has an ecosystem, containing more than 130 documented species.

The Great Blue Hole is a large submarine sinkhole off the coast of Belize.
The hole is circular in shape, over 300 m (984 ft) across and 124 m (407 ft) deep.
It is believe that an underlying cave system collapsed under increased pressure some 10,000 years ago due to rising sea levels.

Wisteria- The Most Beautiful Flower On Earth (Ashikaga Flower Park, Japan)
Wisteria (also spelled Wistaria or Wysteria) is a genus of flowering plants in the pea family, Fabaceae, that includes ten species of woody climbing vines native to the Eastern United States and to China, Korea, and Japan. Some species are popular ornamental plants, especially in China and Japan. An aquatic flowering plant with the common name wisteria or 'water wisteria' is in fact Hygrophila difformis, in the family Acanthaceae.

If your garden is an outdoor room, wisteria provides the drapery and slipcover—to camouflage a view or provide living shade over porch and pergola.
Something between a vine and a shrub, wisteria blooms vigorously in spring with showy, cascading flower clusters that provide quick-growing color.
However, note that it can take a good six years for a newly established wisteria to start flowering—sometimes longer!
The vine may grow 10 feet or more in one year! This gives the artful gardener a paintbrush with which to cover the landscape-canvas. Wisteria is also beautifully fragrant providing a feast for the senses.
Note: Some types of wisteria are considered invasive pests; check with your local cooperative extension. All parts of this plant, especially the seeds, are poisonous.
Planting
Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil.
Ensure placement has full Sun. Though wisteria will grow in partial shade, it probably won't flower. Sun is essential.
If your soil is in poor condition, add compost; otherwise, wisteria will grow in most soils.
Plant in the spring or fall.
Dig a hole as deep as the root ball and 2 to 3 times as wide. Space plants 10 to 15 feet apart.
Choose a site that will not overwhelm nearby plants as wisteria grows quickly and can overtake other plants.
Care
Each spring, apply a layer of compost under the plant and a 2-inch layer of mulch to retain moisture and control weeds.
Some gardeners swear by phosphorus to aid flowering. Scratch a couple of cups of bone meal into the soil in the spring and then add some rock phosphate in the Fall.
Water your plants if you receive less than one inch of rain each week. (To know how much rain you are getting, you can place an empty tuna can outside and measure the depth of water with a measuring stick.)
