Bass Harbor is a village in Hancock County, Maine, United States. It is within the town of Tremont on Mount Desert Island, and near Acadia National Park. With its well-protected natural harbor, it ranks as one of the most lucrative lobster-producing ports in the state. Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse lies at the mouth of the harbor. The village is terminal for both the Swans Island ferry and Frenchboro ferry. Bass Harbor was once known as McKinley. Swan's Island is an island town in Hancock County, Maine. It is named after Colonel James Swan of Fife, Scotland, who purchased the island and some surrounding areas and organized their colonization in the eighteenth century. The population was 332 at the 2010 census. The town is accessible by ferry from Bass Harbor. The island has a summertime population of approximately 1,000. There is a general store on the island, which opened in spring 2007, and at least one inn. There are also a number of small cottage-industry shops. The main industry is lobster fishing, which employs 40 people full-time and many others in part-time work.Swan's Island is also home to the Sweet Chariot Music Festival, an annual summertime show of folk music and sea shanties.

Hansen Dam Water Slide California VLOG

California VLOG #15 - Our adventure takes us to the Hansen Dam Water Park to ride the slide. While searching for California water parks I came across the dam by accident. Admission is a cheep $3.50 which blows Hurricane Harbor and Raging Waters out of the park. There are lots of strict rules like Swimsuit must cover the buttocks, no thongs which is a bum to this girl watcher, but there is still enough bikini bodies to keep you happy. The sun killed us in the slow weekend line, however during the week it's dead.

The slides are a blast, they ain't no Kansas Schlitterbahn Verruckt, but boy let me tell you, it is fun.

In addition to the waterslide, you can go fishing, kayak the lake, paddleboard, play volleyball, hike over the dam, cycle many trails, or ride a horse.
