City Girl Versus the Odenwald (Germany)
Hello Hoppers! I decided to go out of my comfort zone for my daily walk today and enjoyed a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Odenwald mountain range in Germany. People from all over the world come to this leisure destination in SW Germany to walk along one of the European Long-Distance Paths, mountain bike, or visit small picturesque towns or their castles. It's a little embarrassing to see my reaction to some country rodents, as if this NYC girl weren't immune from dealing with subway rats, but hey, we can laugh about it! Hope you enjoy this video and hope it is helpful if you are looking for a place to do some outdoor sports near urban areas like Mannheim, Frankfurt or Stuttgart.

Monnem Bike Festival - my highlights of day #1
This weekend we're celebrating 200 years of bike invention in Mannheim with the Monnem Bike Festival. I'll take you out through the city to show my highlights from Saturday, 10th of June. Surprising was the density of Bamboo bikes, but I could also finally test ride a Pinion gearbox powered bike. On the Planken they set up a small pumptrack and at the Wasserturm Specialized showed off some of their ebikes and Red Bull held the Drahtesel tournament ( where custom bikes were racing each other. On the Marktplatz BMCC ( was representing and Younity aswell in their Bike'n'Rap box. Great event. Big thank you to the organizers and the city!
