Wheeling to Fairmont part 3 of 3, finally able to get around the slower moving traffic as we approached Hundred, we are able to drive the posted speed and enjoy some the windy bits between Hundred and Fairmont, This section of US 250 goes through Mannington, where we have stopped to watch the fireworks on past Independence Days. We will head back to Mannington after we check in to our hotel and watch them again this year.

Taken a few days after the historic snowstorms of February 2010 dropped more than three feet of snow in many parts of the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. The National Park Service did a great job of plowing and shoveling in the area but very few people were visiting this day.
