Biloxi is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. The 2010 United States Census recorded the population as 44,054, and in 2016 the estimated population was 45,975. Along with the adjoining city of Gulfport, Biloxi is a county seat of Harrison County. It was first settled by French colonists. The city is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi metropolitan area and the Gulfport-Biloxi-Pascagoula, MS Combined Statistical Area. Pre-Katrina, Biloxi was the third-largest city in Mississippi, behind Jackson and Gulfport. Due to the widespread destruction and flooding, many refugees left the city.     The Mary Mills Mississippi Gulf Coast Invitational was a golf tournament on the LPGA Tour from 1963 to 1964. It was played on the Mississippi Gulf Coast at the Gulf Hills Dude Ranch & Country Club in Ocean Springs, Mississippi in 1963 and at the Broadwater Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Biloxi, Mississippi in 1964. Mississippi native, Mary Mills, served as tournament host.
