Brandy Station is an unincorporated community in Culpeper County, Virginia, United States. Its original name was Brandy. The name Brandy Station comes from a local tavern sign that advertised brandy.Brandy Station was the site of the 1863 Battle of Brandy Station, the largest predominantly cavalry engagement of the American Civil War as well as the largest to take place ever on American soil.Auburn, Farley, and the Graffiti House are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Culpeper Regional Airport is located on Beverly Ford Road in Brandy Station.

1. Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Harpers Ferry
John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry was an effort by armed abolitionist John Brown to initiate an armed slave revolt in 1859 by taking over a United States arsenal at Harpers Ferry, Virginia. Brown's party of 22 was defeated by a company of U.S. Marines, led by First Lieutenant Israel Greene. Colonel Robert E. Lee was in overall command of the operation to retake the arsenal. John Brown had originally asked Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass, both of whom he had met in his transformative years as an abolitionist in Springfield, Massachusetts, to join him in his raid, but Tubman was prevented by illness and Douglass declined, as he believed Brown's plan would fail.

According to officials in San Juan Puerto Rico, 4 cruise ships visited the island last week and 17,000 passengers enjoyed a visit for the day. The economic impact was estimated to be $1.5 million or $85.00 per passenger. The question to my viewers is, do you spend more or less than that amount when you do a shore excursion? Norwegian Sun Panama Canal Cruise From You Know Where Updates and Travel Trivia! The Norewgian Sun saga justs keeps getting worse with 4 cruises now confirmed to have been construction cruises. 9000 people have been exposed to hazardous chemicals over a 60 day period of time from Buenos Aires to Los Angeles with 2 Panama Canal crossings. Health issues are popping up everywhere with former passengers visiting doctors for help. So far Norwegian is offering a credit towards a free cruise to the passengers who were on the last cruise through the Panama Canal March 16th to 31st 2018. The innocent victims from the other 3 cruises which carried about 6000 passengers through the Caribbean from Buenos Aires Feb 2 to Mar 16th 2018 have not been offered any compensation to date. The fate of the 1000 crew members remains in limbo as well.
