Breckenridge is a Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Summit County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 4,540 at the 2010 United States Census. The town also has many part-time residents, as many people have vacation homes in the area.     Hoosier Pass elevation 11,542 ft is a high mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains of central Colorado in the United States. The name derives from Indiana, nicknamed the Hoosier State, which was the original home of many pioneers. The pass is located on the Continental Divide at the northern end of the Mosquito Range, in a gap between Mount Lincoln and Hoosier Ridge . It sits on the boundary between Park and Summit counties. The pass provides a route between the headwaters of the Blue River to the north and the headwaters of the South Platte River in South Park to the south.
