Brinnon is a census-designated place in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. The population was 803 at the 2000 census. The community is named for Elwell P. Brinnon, who, in 1860, took a donation land claim at the river's mouth. Brinnon is the home of Camp Parsons, the oldest Boy Scout camp west of the Mississippi River, which was founded in 1919.Approximately 61 miles north of Olympia, Brinnon is located on the Olympic Peninsula's east side, along Hood Canal on the eastern edge of the Olympic National Forest.

    The Hurricane Ridge Ski and Snowboard Area is a small ski area in the northwest United States, located on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. It is within Olympic National Park, 17 miles south of Port Angeles. Hurricane Ridge is one of only three lift serviced ski areas operating in a US National Park . It is the westernmost ski area in the continental United States. During months when snow is present, the 17 mile road leading to Hurricane Ridge is prone to avalanches due to high speed wind conditions. Park rangers may close the road leading to the snow park for a whole day.

    Snoqualmie Falls is a 268-foot waterfall in the northwest United States, located east of Seattle on the Snoqualmie River between Snoqualmie and Fall City, Washington. It is one of Washington's most popular scenic attractions, but is perhaps best known internationally for its appearance in the cult television series Twin Peaks. More than 1.5 million visitors come to the Falls every year, where there is a two-acre park, an observation deck, and a gift shop. Most of the river is diverted into the power plants, but at times the river is high enough to flow across the entire precipice, which creates an almost blinding spray. High water occurs following a period of heavy rains or snow followed by warm rainy weather. This can occur during the rainy season which lasts from November through March. ...
