Brønnøy is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland region. The administrative and commercial centre is the town of Brønnøysund. A secondary centre is the village of Hommelstø. Other villages include Tosbotn, Lande, Trælnes, and Indreskomo. The Brønnøysund Register Centre is an important employer in Brønnøy. Also, one of the largest limestone mines in Northern Europe is located in the municipality. Brønnøysund Airport, Brønnøy is located near the town of Brønnøysund. 1. Torghatten Bronnoy Municipality
Torghatten is a granite mountain on Torget island in Brønnøy municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is known for its characteristic hole, or natural tunnel, through its center. It is possible to walk up to the tunnel on a well-prepared path, and through it on a natural path. On 6 May 1988, Widerøe Flight 710 from Namsos to Brønnøysund crashed into the side of the mountain, and all the 36 passengers and crew died.

Brønnøy Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Brønnøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Brønnøysund. It is the main church for the Brønnøy parish which is part of the Sør-Helgeland prosti in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The brown, cruciform, stone church was built in a Neo-Gothic style in 1870 by the architect Haakon Mosling. The church seats about 450 people.

Nøstvik Church or Velfjord Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Brønnøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Hommelstø in the Velfjord area of the municipality. SUBSCRIBE: - Let's visit Godøy which is a Viking island in Giske Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is famous for its beautiful nature, dominated by the 497-metre (1,631 ft) tall mountain Storhornet and the large lake Alnesvatnet.

The name Godøy stems back to the Viking age, and is derived from the name Gud øy, which translates to Island of God(s) in English. The current name Godøy can be loosely translated to Good Island.
