The Brooklyn Navy Yard is a shipyard and industrial complex located in northwest Brooklyn in New York City, New York. The Navy Yard is located on the East River in Wallabout Bay, a semicircular bend of the river across from Corlears Hook in Manhattan. It is bounded by Navy Street to the west, Flushing Avenue to the south, Kent Avenue to the east, and the East River on the north. The site, which covers 225.15 acres , is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Brooklyn Navy Yard was established in 1801.     Luna Park was an amusement park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York that opened in 1903. Built partly on the grounds of Sea Lion Park , it was one of the three original iconic large parks built on Coney Island, the other two being Steeplechase Park and Dreamland . Luna Park was located on the north side of Surf Avenue on a site between 8th street, 12th street and Neptune Avenue. The park was mostly destroyed by a fire in 1944.

    Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park is a family-owned amusement park located at Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York City featuring 5 adult rides and 16 kiddie rides, including a dozen family rides that parents and children can ride together. Their main attraction is the Wonder Wheel, a hundred and fifty foot eccentric wheel built in 1920. On the Wonder Wheel, 16 out of 24 of its gondolas run down a short track inside of the wheel swinging in and out of it as they reach the top. The park overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Coney Island beach. Deno's Wonder Wheel was designated an official New York City landmark in 1989.

    Six Flags Great Adventure is an amusement park located in Jackson, New Jersey, owned by Six Flags Entertainment Corp. Situated between New York City and Philadelphia, the park complex also contains the Hurricane Harbor water park. The park opened in 1974 under restaurateur Warner LeRoy. Six Flags took over ownership of the park in 1977. Today, the park contains eleven themed areas. In August 30, 2012, Six Flags combined its 160-acre Great Adventure Park with its 350-acre Wild Safari animal park to form the 510-acre Six Flags Great Adventure & Safari park, making it the second-largest theme park in the world, after Disney's Animal Kingdom.
