Brooklyn Center is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. The city is on the west bank of the Mississippi River on the northwest border of Minneapolis. The population was 30,104 at the 2010 census. Brooklyn Center is one of the original inner-ring suburbs of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, the sixteenth largest metropolitan area in the United States, with about 3.52 million residents.     The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a 1,137-acre horticultural garden and arboretum located about 4 miles west of Chanhassen, Minnesota at 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska, Minnesota. It is part of the Department of Horticultural Science in the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences at the University of Minnesota, and open to the public every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas. An admission fee is charged. It is the Upper Midwest's largest public garden.
