Newtown is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,248 at the 2010 census. It is located just west of the Trenton, New Jersey metropolitan area, and is part of the larger Philadelphia metropolitan area. It is entirely surrounded by Newtown Township, from which it separated in 1838. State Street is the main commercial thoroughfare with wide sidewalks, shops, taverns, and restaurants. In September 2011, Yahoo! Travel ranked Newtown Borough seventh in their annual 10 Coolest Small Towns in America list, despite incorrectly claiming that Newtown is part of Amish Country.     The George Nakashima House, Studio and Workshop is a historic artist's compound at 1847 and 1858 Aquetong Rd. in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The compound consists of houses and studio buildings designed and built by artist George Nakashima , which served as family homes and as his studio space. The studio-related buildings are open to the public for tours; the houses of the compound continue to serve as residences of the Nakashima family. In April 2014 it was also designated a National Historic Landmark. The site was listed on the World Monument Fund's 2014 Endangered Sites Watchlist.

    Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve is a nature preserve, botanical garden, and accredited museum located at 1635 River Road , New Hope, Pennsylvania. It is open daily except for major holidays; an admission fee is charged to nonmembers. A non-profit organization, Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve Association Inc., maintains the park in accordance to a management agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources & Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Today, the preserve contains nearly 1,000 of the 2,000 plant species native to Pennsylvania, growing in a naturalistic setting of woodlands, meadows, a pond, and Pidcock Creek, with some 2½ miles of walking trails.
