Watch Out For That Bison!!! Badlands On The Road Vanlife
Be Nice to the Bison! My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures. In this video I head out of my camp at Buffalo Gap and visit Badlands National Park. It is a beautiful area with many sights and wildlife as well. I checked out Sage Creek campground in the park but it didn't appeal to me. I head back to my original camp for a second night of boon docking outside the park. When back at camp I cook up some beef tacos on the camp stove. Find these campsites here...
Thanks for watching!

*VIDEO INFORMATION*
Episode 84 was created in South Dakota - Chamberlain, Badlands National Park, Buffalo Gap National Grassland in the Black Hills.
This video is a little different from our usual Friday Fun format, but as you can tell from our campsite view we shared, it was foggy, windy and rainy every day we were in South Dakota so we didn’t get much footage with us in it. Still, the state gave us the respite and boondocking we needed for a few days - not to mention some incredible scenery and wildlife! Our travels through South Dakota was meaningful and beautiful - from a 50 foot statue, a tribute to the AWEmazing Indigenous, to AWEmazing wildlife. Enjoy!

Top 6 Things to Do in Badlands National Park
Planing a trip to South Dakota? Here are the must-do things in the Badlands in your trip!
Badlands National Park and Wall Drug
Join us on our adventure in Badlands National Park and the nearby town of Wall, South Dakota, in the fall of 2018. We boondocked on the beautiful overlook of the Buffalo Gap National Grassland (called Nomad View if you look it up on campendium.com) and explored the Badlands for 4 days. It's not far from the Rapid City/Black Hills area, and there's no excuse to skip! It's an amazing National Park, full of Big Horn Sheep, Prarie Dogs, Bison, and stunning formations.
Check out our Badlands episode of the RV Miles podcast for all the details on visiting the park!
Black Hills National Forest - Your Forests Your Future
