Biltmore House is a Châteauesque-styled mansion in Asheville, North Carolina, built by George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895. It is the largest privately-owned home in the United States, at 175,000 square feet (16,300 m2) and featuring 250 rooms. Still owned by one of Vanderbilt's descendants, Biltmore stands today as one of the most prominent remaining examples of the Gilded Age, and of significant gardens in the jardin à la française and English Landscape garden styles in the United States.

Garnet is a ghost town in Granite County, Montana, United States. Located on the dirt Garnet Range Road, it is an abandoned mining town that dates from the 1860s. In First Chance Gulch in western Montana, the town is located 11 miles up the Garnet Range Road, in mountains and forest. The town is at about 6,000 feet (1,800 m) elevation.The town was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Garnet Historic District, a historic district, in 2010. The listing included 82 contributing buildings, 46 contributing structures, and 56 contributing sites, as well as four non-contributing buildings, on 134 acres.
Garnet was famous for its saloons; at its peak, the saloons were one of the hottest spots in Garnet.

The Jacksonville Landing
The Jacksonville Landing is a festival marketplace in Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. It is located at the intersection of Independent Drive and Laura Street, along the Jacksonville Riverwalk.[1] It was built by the Rouse Company at a cost of $37.5 million and opened in 1987.[2] The 126,000 square feet (11,706 m2) center is comparable to New York City's South Street Seaport, Boston's Faneuil Hall and Miami's Bayside Marketplace,[3] all developed by Rouse.
The two-level glass-and-steel complex with the orange roof is located on the north bank of the St. Johns River. The 9-acre (36,000 m2) complex features 65 stores as well as dining, with full-service restaurants plus a food court, and entertainment. The Landing stages a variety of special events.[3] There is weekly live music on the courtyard stage. Most events take place in the open brick courtyard in the center of the horseshoe shaped structure. Just before the Georgia-Florida football game in 2007, the Landing installed a 19x15 foot JumboTron in the courtyard.
